Allison Gifford

Allison joined UPS Canada as Director of Public Affairs in 2016. She covers international trade, customs, transportation, and labour policy, as well as federal government relations. Prior to joining UPS, she held senior public affairs roles with the Mental Health Commission of Canada and the Canadian Union of Public Employees, and served as a speechwriter and press secretary on Parliament Hill under former Official Opposition Leader Jack Layton. She holds degrees from McGill and Queen’s Universities.

Allison s’est jointe à UPS Canada à titre de directrice des affaires publiques en 2016. Avant de se joindre à UPS, elle a occupé des postes de direction en affaires publiques à la Commission de la santé mentale du Canada et au Syndicat canadien de la fonction publique. Elle a été rédactrice de discours et attachée de presse sur la Colline parlementaire sous la direction de Jack Layton, ancien chef de l’Opposition officielle. Elle détient des diplômes des universités McGill et Queen’s.
